Earth AZ-007, alternatively known as the World of Mana (マナの世界 Mana no sekai?) is the setting for the CROSS ANGE Rondo of Angel and Dragon television series. This world is created by the evil self-proclaimed tuner, Embryo.
Mana is the ability to use technology by interfering with the physical phenomenon, will power, to move objects without touching them. This creates a dividing line between the individuals who can use Mana and those who cannot, being Norma. However, this is no longer the case due to the time-space disaster convergence.

The Norma and the DRAGONs fought the godlike tyrant known as Embryo, who is attempted to combine two worlds into one. Before the incident occurred, the World of Mana, made that Earth Colony into a perfect world with peace and prosperity. With the existence of the Norma, the Mana society considered them as outcasts, with that they were quarantined in Arzenal, a military prison camp, where they are conscripted as soldiers and Para-Mail pilots to combat the DRAGONs. Overtime, when the DRAGONs reveal that Embryo uses the power of the great DRAGON known as Aura, which is the source of Mana. The DRAGONs and the Norma forged an alliance to end Embryo's reign of terror once and for all, and they succeeded.
With the Earth Colony at peace, both humans, Norma, and DRAGONs co-exist together in tranquility. The Space Explorers would soon arrive on the planet and encounter the Norma. Fallen Angel
Taki Gaiden: The Kunoichi Who Leapt Through Time[]
After learning of Embryo's resurrection from Tsukasa, Taki and her fellow comrades embark on a mission to protect the Norma, Ange from falling into his clutches. Upon arriving to the World of Mana (via Dimensional Wall), they are welcomed by the DRAGON princess, Salamandinay. However, due to Gurenryu's urge to battle stronger opponents, he immediately picks a fight, prompting Salamandinay to challenge the Riders to battle. A.D. 2017: Rondo of Angel and Dragons
