Wanting to Mix It All Up! Theo and Keinosuke! is the twentieth episode of Tri-Ranger's Snack Warriors as well as the 173rd episode of the Justice Warriors Series overall.

Synopsis

Theo really wants to impress Keinosuke so he continues to aim for an apprenticeship and when the latter heads out to gather some berries for a dessert that he is working on, Theo, Céline, and Jules tag along. Meanwhile, Keinosuke wishes to impress the legendary Snack Warriors that he was rescued by.

Plot

At his restaurant, Keinosuke is shown unveiling his newest sweet creation in front of a live audience. Theo is also present, dressed as Paris' new strawberry themed mascot "Fraise", along with Céline as a reporter and Jules on the camera.

Not minding the crowd, Theo gets on his knees and begs Keinosuke to be his teacher. This is watched by the entirety of the city, as TVs were installed to enable public viewing of the latter's show. Louis and Marinette, seemingly on an outing together, are able to watch the events unfold. Keinosuke is amused by Theo, but still doesn't want to teach him.

Meanwhile Édouard, sitting alone on a bench in the park, vents his displeasure about the nice weather, deeming it too sunny. He is then annoyed by a couple loudly talking about the pâtissière prodigy, Keinosuke. He rips a flyer out of the couple's hands, offending them as he complains about the Japanese teen being a pain. However, Iru remarks that Keinosuke's Flavour Spark is top-notch, and Édouard agrees with that.

The Grocery Shop Owner had arranged for Céline and her team to have a day-long interview with Keinosuke - to promote the city. Keinosuke's plans include climbing Strawberry Mountain for honey. Theo is the only one who tries to keep up with Keinosuke, who is familiar with the surroundings and uninterested in following the trail. The two get to know each other better as they explore the mountain. Opening up a bit after picking berries with Theo, Keinosuke discloses the importance of selecting the key ingredients.

Exhausted, Theo clings to a twig to support himself as the chipper Keinosuke guides him to the other side of the mountain. Jules and Céline have already arrived a while ago, as they stayed on the trail. As everyone suggests, Theo takes a break and strikes up a friendly conversation with the local beekeepers' son, who reads the same picture book about bears that he used to love when he was younger.

Keinosuke tastes a sample of the honey, and is able to discern its high quality. Yet another cooking duel between the pâtissière prodigy and the Sweet Tooth leader ensues from Theo's proposal to combine the honey with pancakes, this time, however, with an audience. Marinette and Louis, together again, pop in with Pekorin in tow. The picture book inspires Theo to create bear-shaped pancakes. Keinosuke's fancy and meticulously made pancakes are a big hit with the audience, but Theo doesn't lose confidence in his own creation.

Trouble looms though as Édouard is summoned by the abundance of Flavour Spark energy. He turns Iru into a monster, endangering Keinosuke. The Snack Warriors transform and rescue the pâtissière, who is then caught by Gommeux. Keinosuke not only knows about the legendary heroes, but is also a fan and establishes his enthusiasm until Édouard interrupts them again. The Snack Warriors then defeat and purify Iru with their finisher as Édouard retreats. The beekeeper family finally tries Theo's pancakes and Keinosuke is surprised how full of Flavour Spark these ordinary pancakes are.
