Tri-Ranger's Snack Warriors is an American superhero television series co-developed by Tri-Ranger Productions and Toei Company, serving as both an adaptation of Kamen Rider Gavv (the thirty-ninth installment of the Kamen Rider Series) as well as the fourth entry in the Justice Warriors Series.
The show began airing on September 5, 2026, alongside Power Rangers Nitro Charge as part of Netflix's Super-Charged Afternoons programming block after the finale of Hasbro's Fusion Warriors. After Nitro Charge had concluded on TBA, 2027, Snack Warriors was joined in the lineup the following week by Power Rangers Geo-Beasts.
Production
In February 2026, Hasbro sold both the Justice Warriors Series and the Power Rangers franchise to a conglomerate consisting of Toei, Simon Bennett's Tri-Ranger Productions and Bandai for a reported $2 billion. As part of this deal, the master toy license was given to Bandai's American branch whilst Toei got the Japanese video and streaming rights.
On May 29, 2026, Tri-Ranger Productions told fans during the first part of their bi-annual Tri-Hero Con event that the next Justice Warriors adaptation was about to begin filming and that it would be based off the 2024 candy and junk food-based Kamen Rider season, Kamen Rider Gavv although the official title wasn't given at the time as it was shown off as "Justice Warriors (Season 4)".
A couple months later on July 31, 2026, during the US red carpet premiere for Hasbro's Fusion Warriors: The Future's Greatest Miracle, it was announced that the adaptation would be called "Tri-Ranger's Snack Warriors" before a teaser trailer for both the TV series and the upcoming winter crossover film was shown off to theatregoers with a premiere date of September 5, 2026 for the TV series and December 30, 2026 for the movie. This was then followed by the cast reveal.
At the same premiere event on July 31, the name for the idol group for Snack Warriors was announced. They were to be known as the Snack Boys and would provide the shows ending theme whilst collaborating with the Justice Boys to perform the opening theme. Bobby Brazier, Issac Ryan Brown and Noah Schnapp were announced as the members.
A couple months later on December 11, 2026, it was announced during a Tri-Hero Alert livestream on the Tri-Ranger Productions' YouTube channel that the Snack Boys would be getting a new member before it was revealed to be Yasunari Fujibayashi. Fujibayashi then stated that as well as joining the Snack Boys, he would also be playing the role of Keinosuke Hagiwara in the Snack Warriors TV series.
Plot
- "A charming patissière from the "Sweet Tooth Candy Shop" transforms into a "Snack Warrior"?! The story about Snack Warrior Gommeux and the others protecting the sweet food filled with thoughts is about to begin!
I'm Theo Davis-Adams and I am a foreign exchange student who just loves, loves, loves to eat all sorts of junk food! When me and my family moved to Paris, I challenged myself to make some gummy candies♪ ... However it was interrupted by a fairy named Pekorin who fell from the sky! It was so surprising but.. Hang on, this can't be right!
Cake thieves have been making cream explosions... there have been a lot of mysterious incidents in town! And the culprit is another strange monster?! They're looking for the energy that resides in sweets called "Flavour Sparks", and to do that, they change all of the sweets to a disgusting gray color!
Of course, I won't let this happen to my sweets. Because it'll be so important for me to hear my parents say "I love it".... So here comes the "Theo Special"! But when I complete my recipe-
"I become a member of the legendary pâtissiers, the Snack Warriors~?!"
Well, if that's the case, Theo Davis-Adams is now "Snack Warrior Gommeux", the candy fighter who will protect the sweets... Filled with all of those thoughts!!!"
