Theo Davis-Adams is the main protagonist of Tri-Ranger's Snack Warriors. He is a young confectioner/high school student who transforms into Snack Warrior Gommeux.
History
Pre-Season
Theo Davis-Adams was born to his two fathers Luke Davis and Danny Adams via surrogacy at some point around 2024. At some point, Theo began helping Danny run their family candy shop after Luke went abroad to become a travelling doctor.
Becoming Gommeux
Learning that his father, Luke is coming home soon, Theo decides to make him some grape gummies as a present. He attempts to make it several times, but it could never solidify properly. Whilst he is working, a hungry Pekorin crashes into his face through the open window. The fairy eats up and enjoys the failed candies, and as Theo makes another one for Luke, Pekorin notices the Flavour Spark energy sparkling from it. Theo then finishes cooling the new gummiess and they successfully solidify, but the celebration is short-lived after he learns that Luke would not be able to come home that day, which drains him of his motivation to complete the sweets.
As he laments, Juice, who sensed the Flavour Spark coming from his house, arrives and steals the energy from the remaining gummies, turning them black and powering him up. Theo and Pekorin then give chase, with the unfinished sweets in tow. Pekorin strives to protect the gummies that Theo put his feelings into, which in turn gives the latter the confidence to finish it. Just then, they are surrounded by a bright light as he decorates the sweets with a monster face. Just then, the gummies turn into a Junkie and a Sweets Pact. With those, Theo transforms into Snack Warrior Gommeux for the first time and after getting adjusted to his newfound powers, Gommeux uses his finishing attack to turn Juice back into his smaller form and return the Flavour Spark to the blackened candies.
A Rather Juicy Finale!
When Adrian Snyder, Rainbowzilla and Jabari Adegoke suddenly get sent forward in time to the future Paris, they arrive at the Sweet Tooth Candy Shop where Theo greets them and serves them with some delicious Hoppy-styled cakes as Jabari jokingly states that he thinks Theo's cooking is better than Adrian's. Later on, he appears in the present as Snack Warrior Gommeux to support Takago and Mythos as the three Justice Warriors battle the Submarine Chemmorist. After the battle, Theo runs off after giving the Fusion Warriors some gummies.
Understanding His Father, Obtaining Candy Mixer and Defeating The Fused Thieves
Theo participates in Paris' annual Sweets Festival, but gets embarrassed by his dad's more embarrassing tendencies. He then unintentionally hurts Danny's feelings out of frustration but after witnessing how he has tried his best to protect the gummies he bought for him before he passes out, Theo finally understands that Danny only means the best for him. With this revelation he has, Theo and the other Snack Warriors receive the Candy Mixers, after combining the Flavour Spark energy from the Parisians. Together, the heroes perform the Candy Heart Attack spell and purify the fused monster that the Flavour Spark Thieves had merged into. Theo is then flustered by Danny again after the latter is deeply touched by him giving him a fruit tart.
Falling Into Despair
Theo invites Umeko to his home, but when she says some nasty stuff to Theo about his father being selfish for working overseas as a way to vent her own frustration onto him, it results in the young baker falling into despair, thus giving Umeko the opportunity to collect his Flavour Spark. When Theo's friends arrive, Umeko finally reveals herself as Aurélie and transforms her wand into a dark replica of the Candy Mixer.
She mimics the heroes' attacks and gains the upper hand. But then Theo, who manages to break free from Aurélie's trap, confronts her and together with the other Snack Warriors hit Aurélie with Candy Heart Attack. With her mask and wand now broken, Theo (as Snack Warrior Gommeux) gives Aurélie a hand and tells her to come with him so that they can make some rice crackers together, but Aurélie refuses to believe one's feelings could get through with snacks and leaves.
Keinosuke's Identity and Purifying Aurélie
After watching a cooking show about the teenage prodigy Keinosuke Hagiwara on television, he surprisingly meets Keinosuke in person the next day when buying something from the grocery store, and learns that he is going to set up a pop-up shop in town. Theo idolizes Keinosuke and wants him to be his teacher, but Keinosuke would decline his offer. He later has a cook off against him, which makes Keinosuke wonder how even the simplest of sweets can still make people feel happy.
But soon enough, Theo is surprised when Keinosuke reveals himself be the fairy Pikario, and what surprises him more is that Pikario actually admires him for being a Snack Warrior and begs to become his student instead, before Aurélie suddenly enters the scene.
It is revealed that Aurélie is Pikario's sister, a fairy named Kirarin and the Snack Warriors try to get her to remember, but to no avail. A powered-up Aurélie manages to overpower the heroes until Snack Warrior Gommeux, with the help of the legendary patisserie Caesar, gets through to her and she changes back to Kirarin.
He later enters Keinosuke's heart with Kirarin, after Mademoiselle Obscurité corrupts him, and encourages her to make some macarons using her feelings for Keinosuke, even though she denies and believes that she cannot do it. Theo later witnesses Keinosuke becoming Snack Warrior Gâteau for the first time, and watches sadly with the other Snack Warriors when Kirarin is injured and disappears in a stream of Flavour Spark.
Return Of His Father
Theo's other dad, Luke, returns home which surprises the former. However, the latter needs to return to work the following day. Theo wants to make some gummies for him like he had done in the past but he doesn't do very well. After he clears things up with Luke, he finally succeeds and gives his dad some gummies to eat on his trip back. Theo also finally learns to be honest to his parents regarding his true feelings, which ends in them (along with Danny) hugging it out.
The Final Battle Against Daphné
Theo is finally celebrating his eighteenth birthday when Daphné appears and completely stains the town in darkness. Gommeux, along with his friends try to fend off Daphné but are overpowered by Blaise, Diable and then Daphné herself. Gommeux quickly shoves Pekorin and Danny into the Sweet Tooth box but loses his emotions in the process.
After losing his emotions and getting amnesia, Theo tosses his Junkies and Crystal Kangaroo into the trash. Pekorin tries to greet him, but he can't recall her either. So Pekorin regains Theo and the other Snack Warriors' memories and emotions by giving them a basket of donuts. This allows Theo to reunite with his Junkies and Crystal Kangaroo and transform into Snack Warrior Gommeux again.
Gommeux and the other heroes confront Daphné for the final time. However, Daphné is so powerful that she absorbs everybody and even the Earth, and all Gommeux can do is tearfully watch his parents fade away. But instead of surrendering, Gommeux forgives Daphné and tells her that she has a heart, before he and the other Snack Warriors recreate the world. Moved by Gommeux's speech, Daphné leaves after telling him that she looks forward to the new world that he has made. He's then able to resume his birthday celebration with everyone that has been saved.
Epilogue
A year after the battle against Daphné, Theo has been planning to travel around the world when he grows older, but can't seem to tell his friends. When Pekorin and the Crystal Animals discover his travel guides, Theo tries to cover them up, but eventually admits that he's afraid to tell them because he doesn't want to miss them, and breaks down into tears. However, all of his friends support his dream, and he regains the courage to make it come true. After meeting TBA Warrior TBA, Theo decides to travel around the world and become a traveling pâtissier.
A few years later, Theo has accomplished his dreams, with the Sweet Tooth Candy Shop being operated by him. He arrives at a faraway desert town and meets a Mademoiselle Obscurité-looking girl, a Caesar-looking boy and a Diable-looking puppy. Theo then notices the children having an argument and manages to make them calm down before cheering them up with his giant gummies. He's then ready to begin his journey of bringing happiness to the rest of the townspeople.
Personality
Theo is cheerful and upbeat, and he loves all kinds of sweets. He's very creative and excels at decorating and making monster-shaped sweets, as he's always coming up with bright new ideas. However, his cooking skills and schooling could use some improvement.
Theo has a way of making others smile through his pure and genuine feelings and the heart that he puts into everything he does. He's usually very perky, and when he's really excited, he hops around much like a rabbit. Theo can be clumsy at times and is fairly emotional.
