The New Sweet Tooth... Cannot Open!

The New Sweet Tooth... Cannot Open! is the eighth episode of Tri-Ranger's Snack Warriors as well as the 161st episode of the Justice Warriors Series overall.

Synopsis

The bakers prepare to open the all new and improved Sweet Tooth Candy Shop, but after a cake explodes in the oven, covering everything in burnt mixture, they realize how unprepared they really are. Suddenly a strange being appears in the doorway...

Plot

The Snack Warriors are busy baking a sponge cake for a group meal, but unfortunately the oven temperature was set too high which results in an explosion that causes the Sweet Tooth kitchen to get covered in burnt cake mixture. Spongen is looking for Flavour Spark energy outside of Sweet Tooth but with the scent of burnt failure in the air, he takes off.

Pekorin worries over the shop's success as the team frantically begin to clean up. But after Céline brings them to the main area of the shop to see it's been dirtied as well, Theo begins to worry that they won't be able to open the shop in time. Suddenly, a strange creature appears at Sweet Tooth's front door; a stylish blob of cream who Pekorin recognizes as Danny. The group are surprised as Danny explains he gained the ability to shapeshift whilst on Strawberry Mountain. He then says that he's using this fairy-like body to supervise them properly.

In the kitchen, Danny shows everyone a secret staircase that leads to a large vending machine-like object; the Flavour Pot. It stores all of the Flavour Spark they gather until they are remade into dreams. After he says that only the Snack Warriors can use it, Theo turns the large knob on the side, causing it to glow and release pink clouds of Flavour Spark energy. Danny tells them to collect it and the bakers take out their tiny whisks from the Sweets Pact, coloring the cloud-like substance as they play with it. But as they begin to take various shapes, Danny tells the team that they can make anything with the Flavour Spark as Snack Warriors, reshaping it to suit whatever need they may have. Theo asks if they can use it to make the shop cute, and once he agrees, he suggests using it to help the shop. The others agree and get to work.

With that, Jules decides to make some tables, while Danny suggests the handsome Louis become a garcon to serve the customers -which he attempts to show them until the tray Pekorin hands him slips from his now tiny hand- and Céline decides to purchase the ingredients. Marinette uses the fluffy Flavour Spark to make large sweets and Pekorin asks Theo what he plans on doing. Theo returns to the cooking room to make lots of sweets they can put on display. But a loud bang outside startles them, a big hole was put through the wall by Louis and Jules who were trying to fix the legs of a table. Marinette continues making large sweets and has a whole pile of them. but the team have no clue what to do with them. Céline has also returned, reduced to a crying mess by the large crowds when she attempted to go shopping, so she wasn't able to get anything.

By now, everyone is beginning to feel discouraged. Louis attempts to keep their spirits up but Marinette's cryptic responses confuse everyone. As this is going on, a little girl and her pet dog spot the Three-star Kitty and she reasons that for him to be outside of Sweet Tooth, it must be a very good shop. She steps inside and Theo approaches her, assuring her that they can still serve her even though the shop isn't quite ready yet. Anais explains that she will be going to a tea party the following day, but she isn't sure of what to bring. One of her friends likes macarons whilst another likes cookies and another person likes popcorn. Theo suggests they make some donuts, which Pekorin agrees with. She quickly pretends to act like a normal dog after the girls panic.

By now, Anais isn't very convinced. After a moment she apologizes for bothering them and is about to leave, but Theo assures her that everything will be fine. She promises to bring some sweets everyone will love for the tea party, which perks Anais up and she takes off. The group are concerned over this decision and join Theo in the kitchen as she attempts to think of something to make, informing them that she doesn't have any ideas yet. But that little girl is their first ever customer, and she would be so happy if they could make her smile, words that give the others some time to think.

Later, as Céline is walking home she comes across Louis, who asks her if she would like to go shopping together the next day. He knows it's scary for her, so with him there it should be a lot easier. Meanwhile, Jules passes by Marinette, who asks him if he thinks the shop needs something more. Jules is confused, reluctantly agreeing, so they begin to make conversation.

The next morning, Theo and Pekorin tiredly make their way to Sweet Tooth. He stayed up all night trying to think of the perfect dessert and hasn't been able to do that just yet, but to his surprise he discovers Jules and Marinette decorating the new front counter. The latter points out how essential a front counter is and Jules reveals that that the countertop was the table he messed up on yesterday. He's been using his strength to decorate the stand with the various sweets Marinette was making. Marinette goes on to make a whisk, which she then hands to Theo while calling him "my reckless little manager" with full confidence. Impressed, Theo thanks them and turns to find Céline and Louis with crates of apples. They explain how they told the merchant about the shop, with the latter pointing out that Céline seriously spoke in order to show them the importance of sweets, and she also went out to purchase more recipe books.

Excitedly the team decide to resume work, with Marinette and Jules returning to decorations while Céline and Louis use some Flavour Spark to clean up the kitchen. Theo is overflowing with happiness and this inspires him to make Sweet Creatures for Anais; something colorful and wonderful, full of personality and everyone's favourite food to represent how they as a group were able to come together. After they prepare the sweets, they take the package to Anais, who is very happy as she notes how similar the Snack Warrior are like to her friends.

Unfortunately, Spongen appears to steal the Flavour Spark from the Sweet Creatures. He then converts the Flavour Spark into power to transform, and Anais worriedly begins to cry until Theo assures her that everything will be fine. The sweets will turn back to normal soon enough, and the group takes off to transform. They begin fighting him together, with Guimauve grabbing him and throwing him around after he blows a large gust of wind in their direction, then Gommeux and Frites use their Flavour Spark gummies and chips to bind him, allowing Chocolat and Bonbon to strike. Together, everyone uses the power of three new junkies to make a large snack buffet around Spongen to return him to normal and send him flying from the scene.

Our heroes de-transform and return to Sweet Tooth, where the group observe the colorful shop sign they worked on making. Theo then gets a flash of inspiration and quickly whips up some pâtisserie outfits for everyone, which pleases them all. The team are encouraged to get to work, but Theo feels momentary sadness when they remind him that they still have their plans, so they won't be able to always be there. Just then, Anais and her friends come in. The Snack Warriors along with Danny (who had reverted to human form offscreen) welcome them to the new and improved Sweet Tooth Candy Shop!
