Not much has been revealed about Rittersburg's past before the Taint arrived.
Description[]
Rittersburg is a relatively normal town, with good spots and bad ones, though the recent string of Taint attacks is making things worse. The tabloid Madeleine works for is in one of the areas people try to avoid at night, one reason nobody works late. The base of operations for the Taint extermination group that created the Kamen Riders is only a few hours' drive from the city.
