Rider Crew Connection is the seventh episode of Kamen Rider 555. It features the backstory of the Rider Crew members.
Synopsis[]
Smart Lady gathers the Rider Crew for a meeting to share their unique backgrounds. As they divulge their pasts, they uncover common ground, forging an unbreakable bond to confront the imminent threat of Orphnochs together, ultimately becoming an unlikely family in the process.
Plot[]
Smart Lady was thinking about how the other Rider Crew members came to be who they are. So she arranged a meeting with everyone and asked if anybody says something important about themselves. Smart Lady then said that we are a family now and we should take care of each other.
Sydal's Backstory: Sydal explains that he was born in Smart Brain by Desmond Sabin and Crystal Hunter just before the final battle between the Orphnochs and the first Kamen Riders. When his parents mysteriously disappeared, Smart Lady had to raise him. Sydal was in hibernation for his entire life and Smart Lady was the only person he's ever known. He's been training for a long time to fight against the Orphnochs if they come back. He never got any other human interaction and barely goes outside so he can be protected from the Orphnoch.
Alicia's Backstory: Alicia explains that she had a good childhood but it could have been better if her father wasn't so abusive. The reason why her father was abusive is that he never wanted children because he doesn't want to be a part of the responsibility/struggle of raising children. He got depressed and started drinking. Many times he gets drunk and hits Alicia and her mother. When Eliza was born, it got her father angrier. Alicia kept protecting her because she doesn't want the abuse to affecting her in the future. When Eliza turned 2, her dad and mom divorced and moved out. After that, her mother asked her to forget what her dad did and move on. And she should be a nice person and treat everyone the same.
Kumiko's Backstory: Kumiko explains that she was a rich girl that always got whatever she wants. Her father had a business that turned out to be successful. Even with all money, she still managed to act kind and nice to other people because of her mother. She didn't get along with her father that much because her father is always at work and he doesn't give her attention. Kumiko tries to earn his love and trust but her father denies her every time thinking that she will never be as successful as himself. In school, she was a popular girl just like Alyssa but students liked Alyssa because she was athletic and attractive. And students liked Kumiko because she had money. That means Kumiko didn't a true friend until she met Alyssa and Alicia. They said they don't care about the money. All they want is to be Kumiko's friend. When her father went bankrupt, Kumiko decided to not live in her rich lifestyle and wants to find her own identity. Realizing that she loves the environment, appreciates life, and doesn't like violence.
Ethan's Backstory: Ethan explains that he was bullied a lot in school because he was a small kid and for being a nerd. He would get beat up for a long time. So he took an interest in martial arts so he can defend himself. When he met Alyssa, he was starting to be happier because he is not getting made fun of anymore. And not beaten up anymore either. And finally, he started dating Alyssa and he thought he wasn't alone anymore. He even said that he trained Alyssa, Austin, and Jacqueline in martial arts so they can defend themselves and Kumiko and Alicia also learned martial arts but they don't like fighting until the Orphnochs showed up.
Alyssa's Backstory: Alyssa explains that she was a popular girl that people look up to and how she got the popularity because she is a gymnast. But she got into some school drama by students spreading rumors saying that she has been bullying and fighting other people but that was not true. Then she loses almost all of her friends besides Alicia who was friends with her before anyone else. Alicia knew that Alyssa would never do something like that. Alyssa and Alicia became outcasts. Alyssa was attacked by a student that didn't like her. But someone was able to save him in time. The person that saved her was Ethan because attacking someone for something she or he didn't do is not a good thing. Alyssa thanked him for saving her and started to become friends. She didn't feel alone and didn't get into any drama.
Austin's Backstory: Austin explains that he had a sick mother that he had to take care of in his teenage years. He had a passion for breakdancing because he thought he can show his talent and standing out among other people. Before his mother got sick, he was breakdancing in a park, he notices a girl in a black jacket with the hood hiding her face that was also breakdancing. He introduced himself to her and she started to cover her face. Austin said that he can break dance just like her. The girl didn't felt like talking to Austin but he insisted. The girl was revealed to be Jacqueline. He insisted because he wants to form a team with her and he wants a friend. For a while now, they started to date and met Ethan, Alyssa, Alicia, and Kumiko later on.
Jacqueline's Backstory: Jacqueline explains that she was always insecure about herself because she was shy. She gets paranoid whenever something strange happens. She got that from her mother because her mother also was shy and paranoid. Due to her shyness, she didn't have any friends until she met Austin. Before she met Austin, she wanted to do something that can help her make friends. She decided to go to the art of breakdancing because she seems to like dancing when she is alone. When she met Austin, she finally got some confidence in herself and was able to talk to people.
Smart Lady's Backstory: Smart Lady explains that she had an interest in technology and she wants to be an inventor to make the world better. When she became 18, Smart Lady was able to create Smart Brain from the money she inherited from her parents, then she met Desmond and Crystal, and created the Phi and Chi Gear (not revealing that she created the Orphnoch). When she started to raise Sydal, she wanted to prepare Sydal in the case of the Orphnoch attacks. She didn't let Sydal have a regular life because she thought he wouldn't be safe if he went outside. Because she doesn't anything bad happen to Sydal. But she wants Sydal to do his own thing now and is proud of what he became to be. And she hopes the Orphnochs are defeated so Sydal can live a regular life.
When everyone finishes their stories, Smart Lady said that she loves everyone very much and wants everybody to get along. And saying that we are a family now and our lives will for the better.
