Motoharu Chitose was a Senior Agent under the Knights of Delta and the former superior officer/partner of Takanishi Sendoh. He served as a recurring ally in Hero's Justice: Kamen Rider Varia, up until his tragic death.
Character History[]
Chitose first appears as one of the bodyguards in the transportation of the Arcane Delta-Rise Driver, though his team would be attacked by Mugen before the belt leaves their base. He was later forced to hand the Driver over to the Gehennos in-exchange for Taka's safety. When his partner tried to tail the Driver's signal, Chitose instead orders him to respond to a Gehennos activity and when he arrives in the aftermath, he commends Taka for saving a Mark and stopping a Gehennos Number from emerging.
Chitose was later present when Taka tried to storm the Cafe Tajyadoru and confront Shio, stopping the fight between his partner and the varia, while also assisting Remu as the latter's client. He then advises Taka to help with the varia's mission, while receiving some information regarding another possible Gehennos activity. When Shio eventually found Remu's parents in a critical condition, Chitose arrives to lead the transportation of the young girl's mother to the hospital, though he'd later find out that both parents were Marks and that the Gehennos would soon target the vehicle. He tries forming a contract with the varia but Shio declines, saying that when it comes to protecting people, the varia will work regardless of a contract, saving Remu and Taka on his own accord.
Chitose was one of the KOD members assigned in a hospital to safeguard Mizuho Amemiya and Remu Aiba, though he'd later get abducted by Noir. Taka eventually comes to his rescue, despite breaking KOD protocol, and he sees him transform into Kamen Rider Kreuz for the first time and he praises him for hardening his resolve.
Following Nijika's return to Fahren, Chitose's role in the KOD is greatly diminished, as he's often seen reporting to her and Taka about their current situations, and would conduct the preliminary investigations to get the gist of their mission. In the aftermath of Nijika's grand plan, Chitose reveals that he was not let in on the entire scheme and he reprimands Nijika and Taka over it, though he eventually lets go of the minor gripe and continues to help them with their missions to defeat the Gehennos.
Personality[]
Chitose is a calm and levelheaded man who shows both courage and intellect whenever on the field. His experience often speaks volumes during their missions as he can quickly analyze information and deduce outcomes on the go. As one of the more senior members of the KOD, Chitose is often handed the most important missions and would do his best to accomplish them without fail. Though he is quite serious and dedicated about his status in the KOD, he still finds some leeway to be empathetic and concerned about other people, (though not to the extent of Taka's empathy) to the point that he'd be willing to risk jeopardizing his mission's goal just to protect people.
