Laila is Andy Sterling and Yoon Jae-suk's childhood friend who was sent to another dimension prior to the series' events. Although her exact whereabouts were widely unknown, Andy was somehow able to make contact with her dimension briefly through their childhood storybook, with repeated instances resulting in her returning to the prime dimension.
