Powers and Abilities[]
Possessing no superhuman feat whatsoever, Kengo is still a deadly force to be reckoned with, as he is a professional wrestler who solely doesn't rely in brute strength alone, but also agility and high-flying moves.
Behind the Scenes[]
Portrayal[]
Kengo is portrayed by Hiroshi Tanahashi (棚橋 弘至 Tanahashi Hiroshi?), who previously portrayed Soji Kuruse/Robol Bugster in Kamen Rider Heisei Generations: Dr. Pac-Man vs. Ex-Aid & Ghost with Legend Rider
Etymology[]
His surname, Arashi (嵐?) means "storm"
Concept[]
Kengo's overall character is based on the aforementioned Hiroshi Tanahashi, where as the Japan Worldwide Wrestling Circuit is based on New Japan Pro Wrestling, the promotion Tanahashi is currently signed on. Kengo being the JWWC World Heavyweight Champion alludes to Tanahashi being the eight-time IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, having recently won the title from Kenny Omega in Wrestle Kingdom 13, later losing the title to Jay White.
Tanahashi is also a fan of the Kamen Rider series.
Notes[]
- Kengo being a heel in the wrestling ring is rather ironic, as the real life Hiroshi Tanahashi is in fact a face in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
- Kengo is one of the two characters Taki met have no evident superpowers. The other being Shinya Aizawa.
