Jules Benoît is a young confectioner who transforms into Snack Warrior Guimauve. He is also a student at Collège Françoise Dupont alongside the other Snack Warriors.
History
Past
Childhood
As a child born in the prestigious Benoît Corporate, Jules grew up with his butler Gaston Fournier, but gradually grew tired of his routinely life. One day after he noticed his step-sister Estelle's show, he became inspired and sought to get freedom through rock music, but grew distant with Gaston who was more about adhering to the rules of the Benoît household.
Joining Wild Azur
Jules has always dreamed to become a rock star, so he practices his music skills through busking. One day, Alain Dubois finds him on the street, and he befriends Jules by inviting him to join his then unnamed band with his other friends Rocher and Rouleau. He enthusiastically agrees, and Alain names the band based on his themed color and passion.
Present
Becoming Guimauve
While Theo and Céline are on their way to buy ingredients to make some sweets, they overhear someone singing. They decide to check it out and see Jules singing with his band Wild Azur, and Theo enjoys the music. Jules meets the two while they wait in line for some frozen marshmallows, stopping a couple of taunting construction workers from cutting the line. Later, the band finds out that there will be a music competition with Estelle, Jules' idol and step-sister, being one of the judges, so he volunteers to write the lyrics for the song. He has a difficult time coming up with anything decent, and even though Theo tries to help him out, he still can't think of any good ideas.
By the day of the contest, Jules still hasn't come up with anything and starts to lose confidence when Theo and Céline arrive backstage to give him some white cloud-inspired sorbet with marshmallows on top to resemble a lion. Jules takes a bite from it when he starts to have flashbacks of hearing Estelle perform live for the first time, which inspired him to become a rock singer. After eating it, he suddenly came up with the perfect lyrics for it and soon it is Wild Azur's turn to perform for the competition when Glace, one of the Flavour Spark Thieves, attacks the stage, causing the crowd to evacuate. Theo and Céline transform into Snack Warrior Gommeux and Snack Warrior Frites respectively, but Glace's heat made it difficult for the two to hold him off.
He then targets the sorbet that was kept safe in a cooler, but Jules steps in to defend it, and his determination to protect it causes the marshmallows on the dessert to turn into a Junkie and a Sweets Pact. Jules then immediately transforms into Snack Warrior Guimauve. Using his newfound stretch powers and lion's roar, he was able to hold Glace off before he and the other two Warriors sent him flying, freeing the Flavour Spark energy he had consumed. Soon after, even with there being no crowd in sight, Jules and his band perform the song she wrote and little by little, the audience returns to listen, including Estelle.
Relationship With Gaston Fournier
One day, when Jules has a concert with his band, his butler Gaston appears and drags him away without warning. This later results in Jules' family heritage being exposed as his friends investigate Gaston who himself appears to object to Jules from playing rock music since he believes that the young teen should be a refined heir of his family business, much to Jules' frustration.
Later at the dinner party, Gaston is one of the guests being harmed by Aurélie who crashes the event. Guimauve then learns that Gaston actually enjoys his songs, which explains why his Flavour Spark is still intact, before using said energy in order to overpower Aurélie. In the end, Gaston allows Jules to be a band member along with his job as a pastry chef at the Sweet Tooth Candy Shop as long as he is doing well at school.
Falling And Getting Up
When realizing that he and his band have been chosen to be part of the Blue Rock Festival, Jules is overjoyed. Unfortunately, it turns out that she and Estelle's band's performances clash with Wild Azur being overshadowed by Ganache. This causes Jules to lose faith in his own dream, even when his friends try to cheer him up with some marshmallows. This in turn makes him vulnerable to Daphné who turns him into Dark Guimauve where he proceeds to destroy the festival.
However, his friends still want to wake him so Gommeux tells Guimauve that the stage means a lot to him because it signifies his passion for music. This finally wakes Guimauve up. He later meets up with Estelle and challenges his sister to a duel the next time they meet each other.
Farewell Concert
Jules and the other members of Wild Azur are preparing for another concert battle with Ganache when Alain suddenly announces that he has to leave because of his university entrance exams. Jules, once again feeling lost because he will greatly miss his friend, decides that she will accept Estelle's offer to cancel the concert.
His friends then decide to cheer him up by throwing a slumber party for him. Jules is encouraged so she composes a new song. The next day, she tells her Wild Azur band mates that they won't give up easily nor will they fall apart. They all manage to have a blast at the concert despite it being temporarily interfered by Daphné. Their song "Aile" earns both Estelle and the audience's respect, as well as appreciation from Jules' own parents.
Epilogue
Years later, Jules has finally accomplished his dream of becoming a rock star and has become Wild Azur's leader as its lead vocalist. He is last seen singing passionately on the stage with a beautiful smile.
Personality
Jules is an enthusiastic and bold individual, who is brave and passionate. His strength seems boundless, and he is always eager to try new things. Above everything else, he desires freedom and feels stifled by the strict rules at home, which require him to behave and dress more appropriately.
Initially, Jules' competitive nature made it rather hard for him to accept his own shortcomings, but he eventually learns to let go and embrace his personality, which is both soft yet hard and chewy at the same time whilst developing his own unique musical style.

Portrayal
- Jules is portrayed by Issac Ryan Brown who is best known for playing the role of Booker Baxter-Carter in the Disney Channel sitcom, Raven's Home. As Guimauve, his suit actor in the Gavv stock footage is Yuya Nawata (縄田 雄哉, Nawata Yūya).
Etymology
- Guimauve is the French word for "Marshmallow" which makes sense as it matches the suits main motif.
