After Ancient Legends had concluded on February 15, 2025, Battle Warriors was joined in the lineup two weeks later by Power Rangers Royal Hive (after a prequel/"Episode Zero" was aired the week prior (February 22nd) ). The week after Battle Warriors' finale, the series would be replaced in the lineup by Hasbro's Fusion Warriors.
On May 31, 2024, Hasbro told fans during a Fan First Friday event that the next Justice Warriors adaptation was about to begin filming and that it would be based off the 2022 Battle Royale-based Kamen Rider season, Kamen Rider Geats although the official title wasn't given at the time as it was shown off as "Unnamed KR Geats Adaptation (2024)".
It was then revealed a couple months later in July 2024 during the US red carpet premiere for the uncut version of Hasbro's Demon Warriors: Gang Warfare that the adaptation would be called "Hasbro's Battle Warriors" with the cast reveal also being done at the same time before a teaser trailer was shown off to theatregoers along with a premiere date of September 7, 2024 and a live performance of both the opening and ending theme songs.
Plot
Around 60 years ago, people had left an intolerable Earth to live inside colonies out in space but all this did was cause some very heated arguments over who should be in charge of the whole operation. So to avoid war among the nations, a competition is held every four years where one person from each country becomes a highly advanced super soldier simply referred to as a Battle Warrior and takes part in a match known as the Warrior Fight where they earn points by defeating others in battle and saving people. The winner of the tournament will earn their nation the chance to govern ALL of the other colonies and live in their own "Ideal World".
But this time around there seems to be something a bit different about the tournament as an evil force from another world called the "Doomsday Organization" plans to invade the almost-broken blue planet and plunge it into their own chaotic regime. To combat this threat, the Battle Warriors must try to put their differences aside and work as a team in order to obtain the feeling of TRUE victory in this fight.

The "Fight for the Warrior Cup!" arc is divided into 3 smaller sub-arcs:
Episodes 27-36: Let the Finals Begin!, this arc sees the start of the Warrior Fight finals as the New Shuffle Alliance try to earn as many points as possible so they can progress to the Battle Royale section of the tournament and get closer to ultimate victory! This arc features Daisuke's first transformation into Battle Warrior Civet, the brief return of the Doomsday Organisation's Doomaians and the deaths of Master Asia, Ginjiro Fukuhara and Alice Renauld as well as the revelation that Ginjiro didn't actually steal the Dark Warrior as Mikino told him to not let it fall into the hands of the military. This arc also reveals that Alice is actually an android clone of Ginjiro that was made by him after he reanimated Neo Canada's Battle Warrior using DW cells.
Episodes 48-51: The Great Space War, this arc sees Karen and the others go to the Neo Japan colony when Itsuki Hashimoto surpisingly declares war on the other colonies after Neo Japan's victory in the Warrior Fight before kidnapping Daisuke to use him as part of his plans to once again resurrect the Dark Warrior so that he can plunge Earth back to the days of the World Wars and abolish the Warrior Fight, in turn allowing him to potentially rule the world forever!
G Gundam also inspired some of the main ideas for the plot such as the "country vs country" element, the ideas for the colonies, the introduction of a narrator and Karen's personality.
Like the previous series, there were two versions of the show produced for Netflix during it's run due to Hasbro's wishes to make a more mature series that teens and young adults who watched the original Japanese version online could get behind. These were:
The "Kid-Friendly" version which aired at 12pm EST on Saturday afternoons as part of the Super-Charged Afternoons programming block. This version censors any depictions of swearing, graphic violence, blood and adult themes by doing numerous things such as replacing words in the dialogue or showing shots from a different perspective. This version is rated TV-G.
The "True"/"Uncut" version would air at 10pm EST on Saturday evenings and it would keep all the beforementioned things intact. Despite the series being live-action rather than animated, this version of the show would also be shown during a simulcast on Adult Swim's Toonami programming block. This version is rated TV-14-LV.
Battle Warriors holds the record for the most Justice Warriors that have appeared or have been mentioned in the TV series.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Although I won't be helping EmperorHadrian with his King-Ohger adaptation (like I did/am currently doing with Ancient Legends), me and him have given each other permission to use each others series for the purposes of promoting the "Supercharged Afternoons" programming block that exists in our shared universe.
