The Rider Timers are the pocketwatch-like devices used by the Riders in Kamen Rider: Quantum Knight that contain the power of past Kamen Riders.
Overview[]
All Legend Rider Timers
Rider Timers are armament devices designed like stopwatches that are the power sources for Rider Timer-compatible Rider Systems.
In Episode 47, as of the result of the further space-time anomalies, the Knight Era Rider worlds began to merge, represented by each Rider Timers' destruction, turning grey in color and cracked. As a result, previous Knight Era monsters and, surprisingly, architectural locations were summoned.
However, Barry Stone was later able to fix the Rider Timers solely using his skills as a horologist. 2020: World Ending Choice Despite the timeline being reset, the Rider Timers continue to exist in some form due to elements of the original timeline spilling over, caused by further anomalies within the time stream. Creation[]
- Method 1
The Rider Timers of the main Knight Era Riders can be created through a casual temporal loop, as Caleb receives the fully manifested Rider Timer from the legacy Rider in present day and defeats their Demo Knight counterparts in the past before giving the legacy Rider of that past a blank watch which will ultimately manifest into the one Caleb's past counterpart receives in the future.
While typically used to fight against the Chronos Gang and the Demo Knights, Phet states that this method has severe consequences as it permanently alters the timeline and "steals history", presenting a sinister aspect to this method as Riders lose their memories and powers upon Quantum or Gate Knight's first usage of the respective Rider Timer. The degree of change varies from Rider to Rider, due to the villains in most Kamen Rider series having origins independent from that of the Kamen Rider who eventually faces them, though evidence of their prior existence and impact are still being seen in the altered present.

Occasionally, Demo Knights who appear in the present day can spawn Rider Timers from their bodies, provided that Caleb and Dylan have met the conditions for them to do so.

Similar to the Morphin Keys
used by the Quasar Pirate Rangers, legacy Riders can turn their transformation devices into a Rider Timer, which is typically done of their own free will in order to pass it on to Caleb, or forcibly robbed by someone like a Chronos Gang member. Vice versa, Noah is shown to have turned Deca Rider Timer back into the Deca Driver X for his own use, stating he was able to choose the quantity of his powers to be transferred initially. 2020: World's End
- In the case of Evolve Knight, the Rider Timer will turn into energy and apparently turn back into the Evolve Band. 2020: Trinity Times Two In Rock Knight's case, the transformation will occur immediately.
- The Rock and Insect Rider Timers were created in the presence of an individual who was deemed to have inherited the wills of the Riders they were associated with (namely TBA and TBA respectively). Rider: Rock
- Restrictions
Since the creation of a Rider Timer involves time travel, they can only be created if the user is able to access to the origin of their powers, such as using a time machine to travel to the past. However, it is more difficult, if not impossible, to come in contact with Rider powers originating from alternate dimensions, such as the riders of Drago Knight, whose powers come from Mirroria.
Futride Timer Creation[]
Because normal Rider Timers are created from absorbing powers of the past, it is essentially impossible to obtain a Rider Timer from Kamen Riders of the future using time travel, as they technically do not exist at this point in time. Due to this, the process of creating a Rider Timer from future Riders are fundamentally different from its regular counterpart. Futride Timers based on Rider from the future do not necessarily share the same method, as seen with the four future Riders in the series.
- Stealth Futride Timer: Caleb convinced Rio Hanks to trust himself to be Stealth Knight in future, which allowed Alter Phet to use his Neos Booker to write down With that, the Stealth Timer was created, and turned the blank Futride Timer in his hand into the Stealth Futride Timer.
- Quiz Futride Timer: Alter Phet placed a blank Futride Timer on Nate Michaelson, which had siphoned his powers into a fully functioning Quiz Futride Timer.
- Mech Futride Timer: Demo Knight Mech had an accessible holographic keyboard on its chest-plate. By entering the correct password, WILL BE THE KING, Alter Phet created the Mech Futride Timer.
- Galaxy Futride Timer: Of the four future Riders, Galaxy is an anomaly, and as such the creation of Demo Knight Galaxy would be impossible. The three main Riders are forced to collaborate with the Chronos Gang in order to defeat Galaxy. With the alien Rider defeated, Erat seals Galaxy's powers in a blank Futride Timer before Main Phet snatches the Galaxy Futride Timer in the process.
Special/Personal Rider Timer Creation[]
Aside from Rider Timers based on other Riders, the Kamen Riders of Kamen Rider: Quantum Knight possess their own personal Rider Timers based on essentially themselves, each created using methods unique to their own.
- Quantum Rider Timer: Created from a blank Rider Timer after Caleb became determined to change his fate.
- Gate Rider Timer: Created from a blank Rider Timer due to Dylan's determination to defeat Overlord Quantum.
- Quantum Timer Dual: Created from the fusion of two Quantum Rider Timers from both the real world and Mirroria.
- Gate Revive Timer: Created from the fusion of the Stealth, Quiz, and Mech Futride Timers.
- Savior Gate Timer: Created from the fusion of Code Knight's secondary rider Ride Cards from Armor to Gate Knight.
- Trio Rider Timer: Created from the fusion of the Quantum Timer Dual, Gate Revive Timer, and the Prophet Futride Timer.
- King Quantum Timer: Created from the physical presence of all 19 Main Knight Era Rider Timers, regardless of its original method of obtainment.
- Lunar Rider Timer: Created by Overlord Quantum by infusing some of his powers into a blank Rider Timer.
- Quantum Overlord Rider Timer: Manifested after Quantum Knight meets Overlord Quantum and receives guidance from the latter.
Design[]
A standard Rider Timer consists of the following parts:
- Ride Activator - The activation button on top of the Rider Timer. Turning it on will shift the Rider Timer to a standby state before inserting it into the Chrono Driver. Pressing it again will allow the Rider to execute a finisher.
- Timer Body - The overall exterior body of the Rider Timer. The shape stabilizes the rotation motion of the Ridation Bezel and loading the Rider Timer into the Chrono Driver.
- Ridation Bezel - The dial of the Rider Timer. It is an energy release valve. By rotating it from its sleep state, which displays the Rider symbol and corresponding year date (in A.D.), to its active state, the Rider Timer becomes active, which displays the full face of the Rider.
A standard Futride Timer consists of the following parts:
- Futride Activator - The activation button located on the top. When pressed, the Futride Timer enters a standby state to prepare itself for insertion into the Futride Driver.
- Timer Body - The exterior body. The shape stabilizes loading operation into the Futride Driver by letting the user's fingers grasp the Futride Timer in a comfortable manner.
- Futride Gate - The cover/capability valve. When inserted into the Futride Driver, the Futride Gate splits, releasing the Futride Timer's latent capabilities and allowing the Futride Driver to read its data.
- Futridecon - The graphics printed on the Futride Gate. Tells the user what the data and capabilities within the Futride Timer are.
- Futride Projector - The screen inside the Futride Timer that lies concealed beneath the Futride Gate. When the Futride Timer is loaded into the Futride Driver, the Futride Projector transmits data into it via super high-speed optical signals.
Activation[]
The Ridation Bezel is turned 90 degrees clockwise, causing its arrow to face the direction that it is inserted into the respective slot on the Chrono Driver. It activates when the Ride Activator is pressed, and it is inserted into its corresponding slot on the Chrono Driver before it was rotated 360 degrees to transform. Quantum and Gate Knight's personal Rider Timers are inserted into the Time Starter slot to access their base forms, and Rider Timers based on past Kamen Riders are inserted to the Time Upper slot to access Knight Armor forms based on those Kamen Riders.
However, some Rider Timers lack a Ridation Bezel, in which case the depending Activator is pressed before being inserted into the Chrono Driver.
A Futride Timer works similarly to a Rider Timer. However, due to a lack of a Ridation Bezel, the Futride Timer is activated merely by pressing the Futride Activator before inserting it on the Futride Driver. Pressing the Futride Activator again will open the Futride Timer's Futride Gate, exposing the Futride Projector and allowing the Futride Driver to be closed.
Special Rider Timers have extra steps to activate. For example, the Quantum Timer Dual's Ride Activator Dual is pressed before being split into two pieces by the Crown Splitter.
The Gate Revive Timer, after pushing the Revive Activator button, can be inserted into the Chrono Driver to transform into Gate Knight Revive. To change forms, the user merely rotates the entire Rider Timer's face without removing it.
The Trio Rider Timer, after being inserted into the Chrono Driver's Time Upper slot, requires the Crown Uniter to be turned twice, revealing faces of Kamen Riders, Gate and Prophet before activating the transformation into Quantum Knight Trio. The finisher is determined by how many times the Trio Activator is pressed, from once to thrice, before rotating the Driver.

Quantum Rider Timer (Mirroria version): A mirrored version of Quantum Rider Timer used by the Quantum Knight of Mirroria accesses his default form. It is dated 2018, though the year is mirrored when shown on the Timer and the Chrono Driver.

Quantum Timer Dual: The Quantum Timer Dual splits into two halves which can be used in both slots on the Chrono Driver, allowing Quantum Knight to transform into Quantum Knight Dual. Unlike other Rider Timers, the Quantum Timer Dual causes the Chrono Driver to display glitched numbers during the standby loop. It is labeled as Rider and dated 2018, but shown on the Chrono Driver's screen as Next.
It was manifested after Caleb combined both parts and merged with his Mirroria counterpart. Rider: Quantum Dual
The Quantum Timer Dual consists of the following parts:
- Ride Activator Dual - The activation button. By entering this switch, it enters a standby state for connecting to the Chrono Driver.
- Dual Timer Body - The exterior body. It is shaped to stabilize the separation operation of the split leather and the loading operation into the Chrono Driver by causing the fingers to function as a boom when held by hand.
- Crown Splitter - The separation device of the Quantum Timer Dual. By rotating it it separates into the Time Starter Side and Time Upper Side.
- Dualride Bezel - The capability relief valve. By moving at the same time as separation, the ability of the Quantum Timer Dual Time Upper Side becomes active.
- Dualridecon - The monitor of the Quantum Timer Dual. Display capabilities of the Rider Timer with icons and other information such as time is communicated in the top window projected in space.
- Goldridecon - The Time Starter Side's graphic print of the watch. It is displayed simultaneously with separation, and the ability becomes active.

Trio Rider Timer: Allows Quantum Knight to transform into Quantum Knight Trio. It has three layers that open to cover the Chrono Driver's screen and reveal the faces of Quantum, Gate, and Prophet Knight on the front of the watch. The first, representing Quantum Knight, opens upon inserting the Rider Timer into the Chrono Driver. The other two, representing Gate and Prophet Knight, are opened by rotating the Crown Uniter dial on the side of the Rider Timer. Doing so also transforms Gate and Prophet Knight into armor for Quantum Knight's transformation into Quantum Knight Trio. It is labelled as Zi-O and dated 2019.
It was manifested after Alter Phet combined the powers of the Quantum Dual and Gate Revive Rider Timers as well as his own remaining power. 2020: Trio Knight
The Trio Rider Timer consists of the following parts:
- Trio Ride Activator - The startup button on top. By pressing it, the whole Rider Timer enters a standby mode.
- Trio Layer Bezel - The overall bezel. The Trio Rider Timer is divided into three layers; each layer providing protection for inner parts, as well as locking functions outside control range.
- Tricon - The graphic imprinted on the Trio Rider Timer; displays Quantum Knight Trio's face. It can holographically transmit information.
- Crown Uniter - The ability release valve located on the right side. By rotating it, the Trio Rider Timer opens up layer by layer, releasing more power per layer.
- Strengthen Clock - A clock face that extends over the Chrono Driver's middle section. As the Crown Uniter is turned, each layer of the Trio Rider Timer is flipped, forming the Strengthen Clock. By aligning itself with the Chrono Driver's axis, the Driver's processing power is increased 1.5 times. This allows the user to safely use the high-impact Trio Rider Timer.
- Trio Timer Body - The Trio Rider Timer's overall exterior. The shape stabilizes the rotation motion of the Ridation Bezel and loading of a Rider Timer into the Chrono Driver. Out of all the preceding Rider Timers (and Futride Timers), it boasts the most protective strength.

King Quantum Timer: Used by Quantum Knight to access his final form, Quantum Knight King. It is labeled as New and dated 2019, but shown on the Chrono Driver's screen as 0000.
It originally manifested once Caleb collected all 19 Rider Timers, 2020: Time Train, All Aboard! but it disappeared after Momotaro took the Train Rider Timer back after learning of Overlord Quantum. Momotaro later returned the Train Rider Timer to Caleb after calling him a "cool guy" for explaining the truth behind the death of TBA's sister, and the King Quantum Timer returned once more. As a result of the Rider Timers' destruction and Caleb returning the Deca Rider Timer back to Noah, the King Quantum Timer would be temporarily erased again. 2020: World's End The King Quantum Timer would once again return for Caleb's final battle with Erat. 2020: World Ending Choice
The King Quantum Timer consists of the following parts:
- King Ride Activator - The activation button. By pressing this switch, it enters a standby state for connecting to the Chrono Driver, and the King Releaser is revealed on both sides.
- King Timer Body - The exterior body. When holding by hand and by making the finger function as a boom, it is shaped to stabilize the loading operation to the Chrono Driver.
- King Ride Bezel - In order to hold down the enormous internal power equivalent to 20 Rider Timers, Overlordime is used, and each ability is controlled by arranging many control devices.
- King Ridecon - The main monitor of the King Quantum Timer. The ability of Rider Timer is displayed as icons, and other information such as time is transmitted in the top window projected to space.
- King Releaser - The ability release valve of the King Quantum Timer. It shows the ability of the Rider Timer deployed and assembled on both wings.
- King Selector - The control device. Twenty large and small pieces are placed to control the power of successive Rider Timers and supply them in a state most suitable for Quantum Knight King.

Gate Revive Timer: The Gate Revive Timer is an hourglass-themed Rider Timer that is used in the left slot on the Chrono Driver, allowing Gate Knight to transform into Gate Knight Revive. The Gate Revive Timer has two Forms, which transform Gate Knight into either Gate Revive Crusher or Gate Revive Rusher respectively. Once transformed, the Rider Timer can be flipped around to change Gate Knight between the two forms. It is labeled as Rider and dated 2019, but shown on the Chrono Driver's screen as 0000.
However, there is a risk that comes with using this Rider Timer's power. As explained by Main Phet, the powers of Gate Revive Crusher's strength and Gate Revive Rusher's whirlwind-like speed are brought forth via the watch compressing and stretching time, respectively. Due to this, Dylan's own body takes a significant amount of damage, resulting in his own life slowly diminishing the more he fights, as shown with blood coming out of both Dylan's nose and ears. It was manifested after Alter Phet combined the powers of the Stealth, Quiz, and Mech Futride Timers. Rider: Mech But Dylan's determination to defeat Quantum Knight caused the Rider Timer's power to activate. Rider: Revive Knight
The Gate Revive Timer consists of the following parts:
- Revide Activator - The activation button located on the top. Pressing it switches the Rider Timer into a standby state to be inserted into the Chrono Driver.
- Revive Spinner - The front body. It's shape is meant to stabilise the Rider Timer's rotation when switching forms by letting the hand and fingers function as a boom.
- Dual Revidecon - The 'hourglass' window. It is the main monitor. Each two blocks divided in the upper and lower sections stores strength and speed abilities separately via unknown means. Inside of the Dual Revidecon are multiple Revystals that gathers on the bottom half of the Dual Revidecon no matter what form Gate Knight Revive is in. When the Gate Revive Timer is flipped around, the Revystals go into the opposite block in order to repair its system from any damage incurred.
- Revicon - A face within the Gate Revive Timer's Dual Revidecon. It informs people of what form the user is currently in.
- Revive Hour Bezel - The frame that surrounds the Dual Revidecon. In addition to high strength, it acts as a shock absorber, protecting inner mechanisms.

Ride Time Gadgets are based on the gadgets of past Riders and initially take the form of Rider Timers before being activated and transforming into their active modes. They are labelled as Ride Gadget on the Chrono Driver's screen.
- Cellulast Rider Timer: a Rider Timer device derived from Phi Knight's Phi Cellular. Transforms into the Phi Cellulast. Used by Kara and Dylan. Phet was also shown to possess another Phi Cellulast in his arsenal, which is later given to Caleb.
- Hawk Rider Timer: a Rider Timer device derived from Coin Knight's Hawk Drinoid. Transforms into Hawk Timedroid.
- Watermelon Rider Timer: a Rider Timer device derived from Lock Knight's Watermelon Fruit Arms. Transforms into a mini robot, Watermelon Armdroid.
These are Rider Timers that do not fit any of the preceding categories.
- Blank Rider Timer: These are Rider Timers that have not been given any power yet.
- Blank Futride Timer: These are Futride Timers that have not been given any power yet.
- Racer Rider Timer: Allows Quantum and Gate Knight to summon the Chrono Racer. When inserted into either of the Chrono Driver's slots, the Driver makes engine revving sounds. It is labelled as Racer on the Chrono Driver's screen.

Futride Timers are used in the Futride Driver by Prophet Knight. When inserted into the Chrono Driver, it is labeled as New. Their dates are unknown, but shown on the Chrono Driver's screen as 0000.

Demo Timers are twisted versions of Ridewatches given by the Chronos Gang to transform people into Demo Knights. Unlike other Rider Timers, they lack the Ridation Bezel and are all colored black and purple. They are labelled as Evil on the Chrono Driver's screen.
Invent Demo Timer: A twisted version of the Invent Rider Timer used to transform into Demo Knight Invent.
Action Demo Timer: A twisted version of the Action Rider Timer used to transform into Demo Knight Action.
Quasar Demo Timer: A twisted version of the Quasar Rider Timer used to transform into Demo Knight Quasar.
Phi Demo Timer: A twisted version of the Phi Rider Timer used to transform into Demo Knight Phi.
Mystic Demo Timer: A twisted version of the Mystic Rider Timer used to transform into Demo Knight Mystic.
Coin Demo Timer: A twisted version of the Coin Rider Timer used to transform into Demo Knight Coin.
Lock Demo Timer: A twisted version of the Lock Rider Timer used to transform into Demo Knight Lock.
Train Demo Timer: A twisted version of the Train Rider Timer used to transform into Demo Knight Train.
Duo Demo Timer: A twisted version of the Duo Rider Timer used to transform into Demo Knight Duo.
Mighty Demo Timer: A twisted version of the Mighty Rider Timer used to transform into Demo Knight Mighty.
