Fumikage Tokoyami (常闇 踏陰 Tokoyami Fumikage?) is an student of U.A. High School, as well a supporting ally in Kamen Rider Deku.
Despite being a very serious and cold person, Tokoyami is noble, good hearted and helpful when he teams up with the other heroes. By receiving the Dark Shadow QuirkChanger from his friends and the Pro Heroes, he becomes Kamen Rider Tokoyami (仮面ライダー常闇［トコヤミ］ Kamen Raidā Tokoyami?) during the course of the climax of the final battle.

Personality[]
Fumikage is an serious and valiant person that doesn't speak too much or has social interactions with the others. When he teams up with the other heroes and his classmates, he becomes more social and helpful with the others. Continuing with his noble acts, he also cares about his friends, teachers and mentors, and usually gets enraged when his friends are injuried by the villains.
Fitting with his shadow motif, he's fond of darkness and other related concepts, considering himself a "creature of the dark" and employing archaic-sounding speeches that end up painting him as slightly creepy or dramatic.

- Dark Shadow (黒影［ダークシャドウ］ Dāku Shadō?): Fumikage's Quirk, which allows him to summon an sentient shadow creature that remains inside Fumikage's body when not in use. Its behavior and strength depends depends on the lack of light, during the day, Dark Shadow is a bit weaker in power, but has good strength to fight. However, during the night, Dark Shadow turns into a giantic creature with an tremendous power, being able to cut down many trees with no problem. Despite this, Dark Shadow can turn into an uncontrollable beast during the night.

Fumikage can transform into Kamen Rider Tokoyami (仮面ライダー常闇［トコヤミ］ Kamen Raidā Tokoyami?) by inserting the Dark Shadow QuirkChanger into the Hero Driver, then pumping the right wing-like lever of the driver.

- Rider Dark Shadow Break (ライダーダークシャドウブレイク Raidā Dāku Shadō Bureiku?): Tokoyami summons Dark Shadow and together, they perform a direct punch into their opponent.
- Rider Black Abyss Break (ライダー
深淵 闇 躯 ブレイク Raidā Burakku Anku Bureiku?): For this finisher, Tokoyami assumes his Black Abyss form, while still in his Rider form. Tokoyami performs a series of multiple kicks in a row, followed by a Rider Kick to destroy his opponent.
