Synopsis[]
The Holy Grail has merged the Metaverse with the human world and now that the twin wardens have merged into Lavenza, the false "Igor" finally reveals himself as the actual Holy Grail himself, with him wanting to conquer reality and merge it together with the Metaverse. For this, now with the help of the real Igor and Lavenza, Ren frees his friends, ready to face the false god and have the final battle together. The destiny of Japan and the earth depends on the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, the rebel group of Kamen Riders that redeem corrupted adults, as well the voices and cries of Japan and mankind overall. This is the final showtime and the final battle for our heroes.
Plot[]
Caroline and Justine finally remember their past and fuse together once again to revert back into their true form, Lavenza. As she and Ren, transformed as Kamen Rider Persona, confront the false Igor, he finally reveals his true self, he was all this time the Holy Grail, the power-hungry god that wants to merge both the real world and the Metaverse together. He gived Ren two options, restore the world as it was or stop being the mentor and confront him as he merges the real world with the Metaverse, the last option was chosen by the rebel thief as the false god separates from the body of Igor.
As Igor awakens once again, he finally greets Ren and tells Ren that his friends were put in special cells, as the Velvet Room is a place between dream and reality, mind and matter, despite the cognition denies the existence of them. As he frees his friends, they are finally motivated with the goal of beating the Holy Grail and revert the world back to normal where adults are now the ones that have the world's destiny in their hands, as they all transform into their Thief alter egos. As the seven thieves are reunited, Morgana appears and he finally reveals his past and purpose, he was created by Igor as the guide the trickster Ren on his journey. With the eight Phantom Thieves finally united, they are prepared to return back into the real world and fight against the false god. Inside of it, Morgana starts to glow, causing some of the civilians to see that the Thieves were real and weren't urban legends as they thought. As they climb the Qliphoth World, they encounter with Uriel, Michael, Gabriel and Raphael. As Phantoms transform into their main Kamen Rider forms to fight against the four archangels, they battle against the quartet, eventually defeating them in a hard battle.
With the defeat of the four archangels, the Phantom Thief Riders finally encounter with the Holy Grail, who reveals to them his true form, the "False God", Yaldabaoth. Despite their attempts to attack him, his strength was much superior to those of the Phantom Thieves, finishing off with two blasts to the Phantoms, damaging their helmets and defeating them easily. As the allies of the Phantoms still keep noticing the merge of the city of Shibuya with the Metaverse, Mishima tells the rest of the civilians to cheer, pray and support the Thieves. The voices began to be heard in the downtown of Shibuya and the support and popularity of the Phantoms increases from 0% to 100%. This, allowed Kamen Rider Persona to awake Satanael, his Ultimate Persona, and with the voices and cries of mankind, the Arsène PersonaKey evolved into the Satanael PersonaKey, which he uses it to access to his Satanael PersonaArmor form. With this, Persona delivered the final blow using his Persona GunSaber to shoot a single powerful bullet alongside Satanael that penetrated Yaldabaoth's head, killing him and reverting the world and Shibuya back to normal.
As they gain the final treasure of Mementos, the Holy Grail itself, Morgana finally fades away of existance, including the Metaverse, the PersonaDrivers and the PersonaKeys. On Christmas Eve and with reality restored back to normal, the Phantoms separate to celebrate Christmas, with their promise to encounter tomorrow to celebrate on the Café LeBlanc. As they separate ways, Ren encountered with Sae, informing him that despite Shido confessed his crimes, no evidence for it could be found to prove his guilt due to the erase of the other world. The only ones that can give proof of this are the Phantom Thieves, with the cost that he has to turn himself in as the leader and the Kamen Rider to protect his friends and allies, with him being sent to a juvenile detention center.
As he accepts this, he's sent to the juvenile center for his actions and crimes as the leader of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts and as Kamen Rider Persona. While in prison, he encounters with Lavenza and Igor in the Velvet Room one final time as he receives the World Arcana, a symbol that represents that he is no longer an existence that wanders alone and can finally live a free existence wherever he goes. After this, Igor, Lavenza and the Velvet Room disappear. The following spring, Ren is now free, he returns back to the Café LeBlanc to find that Morgana returned, now as a normal house cat and after entering inside the place, he encounters with his friends, which welcome him back as we see a poster of The Phantoms inside Ren's former bedroom. As he prepares himself to departure back to his hometown, at Shibuya crossing, he encounters with his friends with a new van, ready to go home and alongside his companions. As two men try to trail the disbanded Phantoms' van, they fail as the car was stalled and damaged by Morgana. As the Phantoms travel to Ren's hometown, we see a top view of Shibuya as the episode and the series ends.
