The Rentaro Clones are a group of synthetically manufactured ninjas created by the combined efforts of the Ashikage Clan and Foundation X. These clones can transform into the Silver Cho Nin-Ju.
History[]
The Ninja Clones were originally conceptualized by Kunimitsu Ashikage's father as a way for the Clan to proceed with the Kumite of the Shinobi without harming any life. The idea for this is to cultivate artificial ninjas that will be perfect bearers for the Shinobi Hyoutans, before proceeding with the Kumite, intending for them to act as sacrifices once all of the powers of the Hyoutans are combined into one vessel. However, the plan was opposed by many retainers for a myriad of reasons and was ultimately scrapped when the previous head passed away and Kunimitsu assumed the throne. He would still keep some of the clones in limbo and utilize them whenever he sees fit.
The Clone Rentaro was assumed to be made using Rentaro's blood when he saved the Clan's Heir from the Niji no Hebi assault, getting impaled by a Dustard in the process. There, Gamano noticed his connection with the Silver Hyoutan, using him as a bases for the clones. However, the real Rentaro would use the Hyoutan himself, assuming the mantle of Kamen Rider Shinobi to protect Iroha once again. The clones were later shelved when Kunimitsu became the Head opting to use him as a sacrifice instead to complete the Kumite.
The clones finally made their appearance during episode 42 when Rentaro saw the pods housing them, before confronting an Isamichi clone who turns into a Gold Cho Nin-Ju. Kunimitsu used these to intimidate Rentaro and made him think that he was also a clone, a narrative that was heavily debunked by Iroha later on. Kamen Rider Bakugo would also fight a Rentaro clone who can turn into a Silver Cho Nin-Ju when he raided the Ashikage Estate with Saizo, defeating it to form a silver-colored Sanzu Starter.

As the clones of Rentaro, these manufactured ninjas can transform into a Silver Cho Nin-Ju simply by imbuing them with the raw waters coming from the Silver Hyoutan. Compared to the other beasts, the Cho Nin-Ju sports a very distinct look, incorporating elements of a toad in its features. Though quite strong, these Cho Nin-Ju are slightly weaker compared to the others, especially after the other Riders obtained their Super Forms. Also, unlike the other Nin-Ju, their physical bodies also get destroyed once the waters are sealed.

Fan Casting[]
The Clone Rentaros are portrayed by Hideya Tawada, using his face and features. The Silver Cho Nin-Ju's suit actor is primarily Yasuhiko Imai, though other actors can also be fan cast to portray them.
