Khatum is ancient organization from the Back World/World of Stories that caused the destruction of Atlantis looking for the Book of Oracles. A few survivors from Atlantis traveled after them, but lost sight of them.
Centuries Later, those survivors became the Order of the Sword and began mobilizing a group of guardians called Kamen Riders (except they rode horses instead of bikes), starting with two brothers Mudra and Kitab.
However, Mudra was corrupted by Khatum and become their mercenary, making Kitab not trust such power.
It was not until a band of explorers from the "Old World" caused a disturbance that gave Khatum a way to return to the other side.
