Designated "SB-555T", the Buster Rifle Attache Series 1was developed a month before the dissolution of the Smart Brain project in 2010. It was thought to have been lost forever, Ashley and her friends somewhat discovered this during while gathering their test subjects for their research. It was made to resemble a modern trunk-box for the Auto Vajin's vehicle mode, as the Buster Rifle Attache is too big to be stored in the Smart Brain briefcase that stores most of the Rider Operator Series No.1 Gear.

By equipping the Cellular Control Series 1 into the Buster Rifle while wearing the Rider Operator Belt Series 1, Series 1 can access power from a Smart Brain Satellite in orbit, entering Super Mega Mode. According to Takigawa, Rider Operator Series 1 having assumed in Super Mega Mode is personified as the Messenger of the Sun Goddess (使節の天照, Shisetsu no Amaterasu?).

True to the personification, Super Mega Mode, along with this weapon that allows the user to transform into this form, is somewhat regarded as a "compact" superweapon, as mere presence of Rider Operator Series 1 in this form is somewhat regarded an abhorrent enemy to the point being classified as Destruction Incarnate.

After initiating Super Mega Mode, the Buster Rifle can be transformed into a beam-shotgun (Rifle Mode/Photon Buster), using the Orochi Cannon Exceed Charge, or a thick bladed lightsaber-like weapon (Blade Mode/Photon Breaker), utilizing the Ama-no-Habakiri (天羽々斬, lit., "Slash of the Heavenly Wings"?) Exceed Charge.

Notes[]

  • The Photon Breaker's Exceed Charge's name, Ama-no-Habakiri, is another name of a legendary sword called the Totsuka-no-Tsurugi (十拳剣 lit., The Sword of Length of Ten Fist?). This mythical sword is used by the Shinto god, Izanagi-no-Mikoto to kill his son, Kagutsuchi when the latter burned his mother Izanami to death. The sword would be later passed to Susanoo, a son of Izanagi who is born from his nose. Susanoo would later use the Totsuka to slay the Yamata-no-Orochi, the latter name would be derived for the Photon Buster's Exceed Charge name.
