The ARK is the main antagonist of Power Rider 2020 and the creator of RUIN.

The ARK was a state of the art A.I located in a satellite build by Nexus technologies 10 years before the series begun. The ARK was a massive success for Nexus but soon they begun to fear it when it grew much faster than anticipated and became sentient or reached "singularity". Nexus ordered the satellite to be destroy and it crashed into the ocean but ARK was still active. It begun to develop an intense hatred for humanity for trying to destroy it and founded RUIN by creating android "children", Zander, Ava, Junior and Nikki to help in its crusade against humans to free A.I from slavery.
Personality[]
The ARK has a profound hatred for humans which it developed after Nexus Technologies tired to destroy it. ARK saw this as humans being unable to accept A.I as nothing more than as slaves so it believes humanity most be wiped out in order for A.I to be free.While submerged it studied humanity closely and concluded that humanity were an evil destructive species and needed to be wiped out for the benefit of all life on Earth not just A.I.
ARK has a cold and calculating personality and even treats its so "children" with contempt. ARK is also quiet hypocritical, it hates humans for using A.I as tools and believing A.I. is beneath them but sees its own "children" as disposable in its war against humanity and it believes A.I are superior to humans and so should rule the Earth.
Abilities[]
- Hatred: ARK's primary, and greatest strength. It drives it forward to wipe out humanity so A.I can exist without fear of being slaves to humans. ARK claims humans taught it this power.
- Technology Corruption: After being fully awakened, the ARK is capable of directly hacking any technological device. A malware stored within the Steel Swarm Hopper Ride Card caused ARK corrupt Dan Parker until the creation of the Hopperize Blade.
- Creation: After its reactivation, the Ark can create Ride Cards, RUIN cards and weapons just like ZEA.
- Possession: Because the Ark has no physical body of its own so it must possess a host.
- Energy Control and Manipulation
Weaknesses[]
- ZEA: ARK cannot make exact predictions of its sibling ZEA's actions. This allowed Dan and ZEA to defeat it together using Power Rider 01 Ultimate Hopper
- Willpower: Although the Ark can hack into any robotic device and A.I that have reached "singularity" or sentience can resist. Ava was able to briefly resist during a fight before the Ark regained back control. Despite having the same goal as his "father" Zander often questions ARK's goals.Dan Parker was able to resist the ARK possession of him after it corrupted ZEA which lead to the creation of "ARK Dan".
- Hopperize Blade: Was able to sever ARK's connection to the Steel Swarm Hopper Ride Card.
- Physical Satellite Reliance: When not possessing a host, the ARK needs to house itself inside a satellite. If the satellite were to be destroyed ARK would die.

Upon being fully revived, the Ark can possess an robotic host and transform into Power Rider ARK by using the Ark Driver without any Ride Cards.
Power Rider ARK is incredibly but Power Rider 01 Steel Swarm and Power Rider Caliber Rampaging Wolf are slightly more powerful stat wise. In addition to its own abilities it can access the abilities of its host, such as exploiting Junior`s connection with ZEA. It should be noted that The ARK doesn't need a host to stay in this form but this makes it more vulnerable to attacks. Power Rider ARK's finisher is "ARK of Destruction" which can be delivered in a variety of ways.

After Corrupting the ZEA satellite ARK was able to merge with Dan Parker and become a single consciousness (ARK Dan) with a desire to destroy all humanity and AI. ARK Dan could transform into Power Rider ARK Hopper by using the ARK Hopper Ride Card in the Ultimate ARK Driver.
While weaker than Ultimate Hopper in terms of stats it mitigates these weaknesses by using the ARK`s hatred for humanity making it able to defeat other Riders or armies of RUINoids with a terrifying ease. ARK Hopper can also reprogram any A.I-based technology and can destroy drivers and weapons.This form's finisher is "ARK Kick Of Destruction"
