8th Data: The Mammoth Of Promise (約束のマンモスYakusoku no manmosu?) is the eighth episode of Kamen Rider Scan. This episode marks the debut of Scan Battle Mammoth.
Synopsis[]
Takeru was wounded protecting Jyuka, and Scan must stop Horn, Gou Amatsu's Kamen Rider, from destroying everything his father built. But will you be able to do this without Sayuri? This is put to the test when he fights Horn...
Plot[]
The doctor said that Takeru needs surgery, which worries Jyuka. Kaito blames himself for letting it all come to this. Gou says that now everything will be how he wants it, but Ingram reinforces that he still needs more Disks, saying that he will take them. Kaito goes to Gou and Jyuka asks where he is going, saying that he will defeat Gou at once. In battle, the two transform and begin to fight, but Horn easily knocks him down and steals the Rescue Tiger. When Horn was going to use his Jacker, Scan does a trick to retrieve the Fighter Hopper, getting it and then being shot down by Revol and Ingram, being de-transformed and then the three leave.
Back at the hospital, Jyuka asks him why he's doing this, replying that to keep his promise to protect everyone's love to his father. And she asks if Sayuri is also in that promise, saying yes and that she is not only his partner, but the person he loves the most. He returns to base, and starts making Mammoth, but for a while he can't, until he remembers Sayuri and the promise to save her, thus completing the Battle Mammoth Rider Disk, and Jyuka appears saying she's going to help him, since he helped her so much, he must give her back too.
Horn starts attacking Kaito's company and the two go to fight him, and Ingram and Revol emerge, and Dust tells him he takes care of them. Scan and Horn start the fight and Horn gets along well, until Kaito uses the Battle Mammoth, and manages to overcome Horn and defeat him, even transforming him, and he just smiles, walking away. Once out of the hospital, Takeru says they both did a good job and Kaito just says that he will continue to do what he does, as much to save this world as Sayuri and his friends. Gou says that even though Horn is not the strongest, he got the data he wanted and now, a new threat has managed to defeat Kaito Hiden at once.
